Khelo India Youth Games (KIYG), formerly Khelo India School Games (KISG), means Play India Youth Games, held annually in January or February, are the national level multidisciplinary grassroot games in India held for two categories, namely under-17 years school students and under-21 students. Every year best 1000 kids will be given an annual scholarship of ₹5 lakh (US$7,000) for 8 years to prepare them for the international sporting events.

KIYG 2019

Kerala had participated in second KIYG held in Pune. Total participant from kerala were 308.Among 14 discipline kerala won 58 medals ,12 gold, 16 silver and 30 bronze.

Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs hosted a ceremony for greeting KIYG medal winners and cash price awarded to winners.For gold medal winners 25000(each),silver medal winners 20000(each), Bronze medal winners 15000, For each team gold winners 1.26 lakh,team silver medal winners 1.2 lakh, team bronze medal winners 75000 awarded.

KIYG 2020

Kerala had participated in third KIYG held in Guwahati. Total participant from kerala were 280. Among 14 discipline kerala won 40 medals ,15 gold, 5 silver and 20 bronze.
