The stall of the Sports Department has attracted attention in the "Ente Keralam" programme, which is part of
the government's fourth anniversary celebrations. A variety of sports activities and information related to
the sports sector are displayed in the stall. Representing the government's sports policy of "Sports for
All", the stall has attracted people of all ages through various sports activities.
The stall is designed on the model of a ground, in which the path, which is a model representation of a
synthetic track, is used for the movement of visitors. The main attractions of the stall are the provision
of a football turf in the middle of the stall and the opportunity for visitors to participate in various
sports activities.
The stall also showcased the initiatives taken by the government in the sports sector over the last nine
years, including infrastructure development across the state, financial assistance, sports quota employment
opportunities provided to talented sportspersons, and basic training schemes implemented by the Kerala State
Sports Council and the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs.
The government's successful project "Healthy Kids" has also been successfully introduced at the stall. The
Healthy Kids Zone and related activities set up as part of this have attracted a lot of attention from
children.
A special area was also set up at the stall to provide information on health and fitness topics to visitors.
Through this, information on health indicators such as BMI index and waist-hip ratio has been made
available.
